Welcome Commissioner Lebeaux!

We were thrilled to welcome MDAR Commissioner John Lebeaux and Deputy Commissioner Ashley Randle to the farmers’ West Springfield farm site yesterday. The farmers shared their successes marketing cultural crops including tukugre and specialty hot peppers and showed how they’ve adapted to grow their traditional crops in a New England climate.

We look forward to seeing Commissioner Lebeaux and Deputy Commissioner again next season at the Brightwood Farmers’ Market!
